2. how we can find more good things in life, whether through philosophical musings, empirical research, or personal experience.

1. I live in Chicago with wife and two kids.

2. I was born in Japan, but have now spent more time in the United States. I’ve lived in 8 states—TN, MO, WA, CA, WI, MA, SC, IL, in chronological order.

3. I’m a data scientist, which means I do less science than when I was a scientist.
